Is it alright for a Disfellowshipped Jehovah's Witness to Date?
by preacherman init is said that a dfed is handed over to satan and left alone in his or her gross unrepentant conduct.
however, you'll agree with me that not all dfeds are living that way.
the truth is that some have actually repented and stopped their bad conducts but have fallen victim to the legalistic and procedural expediences of the wbts which makes it very difficult for some to come back in the shortest period of time.

THE FAILURE to REPORT OFFENCE
We recommend the introduction of a new criminal offence of failure to report targeted at child sexual abuse in an institutional context (recommendation 33).
We recommend that the offence should apply:
• to any adult who owns or manages or who is a staff member or volunteer of a relevant institution, or who otherwise requires a Working with Children Check clearance for their role – but not to individual foster carers or kinship carers
• in relevant institutions, including institutions that operate facilities or provide services to children in circumstances where the children are in the care, supervision or control of the institution. The offence would be committed if the person fails to report to police in circumstances where they know, suspect, or should have suspected that an adult associated with the institution was sexually abusing or had sexually abused a child.

by StoneWall inthis is probably going to unnerve some on here or make them uncomfortable.we always hear, why didn't the elders call the cops first instead of the wt society (lawyers/attorneys).
in cases of child molestation or other incidents.this video is why and if you're smart you'll follow their example.i'm not taking the wtbts side on this just so you know in advance because i do not agree with the two witness rule at all.but be that as it may,this is by far the best lawyer/attorney and law professor i've ever heard on the subject of why you should never talk to the police and always let an investigation be made through counsel.this is why in the usa you have the right to remain silent when talking to police/authorities but even more important what the fifth amendment really entails and why it would behoove us all to understand what can happen even if you are totally innocent and have nothing to hide but how things can go horribly wrong.if i ever have to go to court for anything i can only hope that i got a lawyer as competent as this one the vid is approx 46 minutes long but well worth investing that time because if you had to talk to a lawyer it would cost you a lot to receive what this professor covers in this.the majority is from the law professor and the remaining minutes are of a former police captain/investigator with his insights and opinions.and just to be clear, i'm not suggesting that the elders not call the police because they should in cases of child molestation but rather they better get legal advice to protect themselves so that they don't have to answer for the wtbts decisions.look how many former (ex) elders we have on sites like this one and others and i'm so happy they got free of the wt but also they didn't get in trouble by accidentally saying/doing the wrong thing.all of us can benefit by following this advice in the video and i hope you enjoy it and to know what your rights arehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xyp7ee.

Really struggling to go on
by Isambard Crater inso, so much has happened in my life over the years and continues to happen, but i won't go into the details as it would take a long time.. i don't really know why, but i returned to "the truth" 15 years ago.
in 2012 when the tv broadcasting station launched, i started to develop doubts.
the australian royal commission and other scandals made me angrier, and i now don't believe most of the core teachings.. the only reason i show up at 5 or 6 meetings each month is to keep in contact with my parents and a few other family members.. but it's killing me, literally.

Keep in mind that this accusation comes from the alleged God-selected "faithful slave" - isn't this exactly what the current "slave" dictated in the September 2007 Kingdom Ministry - "Don't do any research of doctrines in groups which are not under our control."

First, the arrangement for elders to handle cases of serious sin comes from Jehovah, (2nd lie!) as outlined in his Word. (Jas. 5:14-16) (3rd lie) Second,...." (Let's quickly move on now brothers & sisters, because these 3 "truths" have been satisfactorily answered from the paragraph)
The perverting of the James scriptures by the "faithful slave" - in order to reinforce the unscriptural and evil practice of "compulsory confession" - should be proof enough that the WTBTS serves no god except itself.
In the RNWT, James 5:14-16 says this, "Is there anyone sick among you? Let him call the elders of the congregation to him, and let them pray over him, applying oil to him in the name of Jehovah. And the prayer of faith will make the sick one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (by whom - the elders????????) Therefore, openly confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed"
1) Sick among you - not a serious sinner.
2) "If he has committed sins" - the word 'serious' is missing!
3) "Openly confess your sins to one another". Are J.W. elders obliged to openly confess their serious sins to publishers in their congregations? If not, the org's mandatory confession is a one-way street!
The Greek word which many Bibles (not all) translate as 'sin', actually means any of the following; "faults, offences, trespasses, to err, be mistaken, miss the mark, or wander from the path."
Jesus' words at Matthew 18:15-17 command Christians how to deal with serious sins - between the people directly involved, and no confession to elders!
Witnesses - examine the gulf between what the org says and what is really true.
